Saudi Arabia has been officially selected by FIFA to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup™, making it the first-ever World Cup featuring 48 teams in a single host country.

The tournament will be staged across 15 stadiums in five host cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha, and NEOM.

The centerpiece will be the massive King Salman International Stadium in Riyadh, with a seating capacity of approximately 92,000, hosting the opening match and final. Among the standout venues is a futuristic stadium in NEOM—built 350 meters above ground level and seamlessly integrated into the city’s infrastructure.
